Hello!
I’m Nicole
Born and raised with my fingers in the dirt and armed with the lifelong knowledge of gardening passed down to me from my mother, and grandmother. I decided to start a flower farm. Thus, in 2019 Marguerite Farms was born.
Named after my favorite flower, it is the word for “daisy” in French. I have always grown flowers, and after working in healthcare during the height of the COVID Pandemic and having my third child, I decided I needed a change.
With the encouragement of friends and family I looked for something I could empower my own life, as well as my three daughters. I started with a Facebook segment called “Emily Says” where I shared my advice through the eyes of my toddler. With its success I decided to sell my flowers to the public.
My in laws graciously gifted me a small piece of their farming ground in Norwalk Iowa to experiment on and literally grow my business. We are now growing in both aspects of the word, and have purchased land in Martensdale Iowa, just south of Highway 92!
I love what I do, and I do what I love every day. My peace and passion come from my work, and I love sharing it with my family and customers. I also started this business to share the knowledge and preservation of our habitat and wildlife. Our native Iowa Parries help keep the balance of a controlled ecosystem. There are so many things big and small that anyone can do to help!
I work with many varieties of flowers, from prairie wildflowers to big, beautiful dahlias. With my wide range of flowers and expertise I would love to make your day, moment, or event beautiful!
Thanks for reading,
Peace
